Original Book Review

A Short Story That Hits Like A Full-Length Thriller
Rate — 5 stars
Death Row is about Talia Kemper who is serving a death sentence for murdering her husband, although she insists she’s innocent. Then one day in the visiting area, she sees a recognizable stranger she’s certain is her husband. Turns out the man she’s convicted of killing, may not be dead after all..

This is the first novella I’ve ever rated 5 stars — and it earned every single one of them. It’s no surprise that Freida McFadden has proved, once again, that she’s a genius at crafting mind-bending thrillers. Her ability to entwine an unpredictable, twist-heavy plot, is nothing short of brilliant. You think you have it figured out, but you don’t. At least for me, I didn’t see this one coming! It kept me fully hooked from start to finish. If you love psychological thrillers that mess with your head and keep you guessing, like I do, this one is a must read! The story wrapped up beautifully, but I would’ve gladly followed it for well over a hundred more pages!
