Hello everyone!
I haven’t read a book in German for a long time, but now I have a present from my girlfriend. That’s why I wanted to read it immediately. Imagine a book suitable for a bookworm: a man who has opened his own café. People visit all kinds of cafés. Everyday life, but the café has no name.
No matter how much it was about everyday life, I started to get bored reading it towards the end. I actually thought it was the book I was looking for. But it jumps from topic to topic. It’s about the life of Simon, the owner of the nameless café, and his own experiences and the people around him who come into the café. Sometimes it was politics, sometimes it was relationships, sometimes it was the past, I also sensed a bit of racism. The nice thing is that it’s a cute café and it’s in Vienna.
