Original Book Review

FIVE STAR READ ALERT

Julia Song is Undateable, Susan Lee’s adult debut, has everything you want in a friends to lovers romance. I laughed, I cried, and when I finished I wanted to start it over again because it’s a book that feels like home!

Julia, our protagonist, is so smart, loving, talented and so wonderfully flawed and self aware. There is so much room for her to grow and we get to join that journey, making her even more delightful as a character. From the minute I met her, I loved her. You know she would be the friend who is always in your corner and you’d always have her back too.

And Tae. Don’t tell my husband but I think I love Tae. All jokes aside, just like Julia, there is so much depth to his character. He’s perfect, so sweet and thoughtful, but he’s also flawed and we get to watch him grow as well. Seeing these two characters come together and not only help the other but help themselves was everything.

The story is rounded out with strong supporting characters, humor, fast pacing, and so much heart. I can’t get over this one and it’s definitely going to be one of my comfort reads!

Thank you so much to @susanleewrites for the ARC!!
