A story about a girl who lives on a peach farm with a complicated family life. She then meets a boy and the story of love, nature, grief, belonging and womanhood unfold from there.

Loved the prose of this book, hard to believe it was Shelley’s debut novel! I wasn’t sure where this story would take me but it was so captivating. A bit slow at times and I wish we got a little bit more with Torie and Wil’s relationship. But overall it was beautifully written, I connected to the characters so well, and it showcased the power of women, resilience and love.
